The Role
As our company continues to expand, we're thrilled to offer a full-time position for a Passive & Portable Fire Equipment Division Service Manager to manage a team of 16 members and coordinator. We're seeking an individual eager to contribute to our business's ongoing success. Join our vibrant maintenance team and assist in providing exceptional trade experience & customer service to our growing client base. Key Responsibilities
- Manage service staff and operations, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services.
- Establishing the required performance standards and work quality in conjunction with the service supervisor.
- Collaborate closely with the Service Supervisor to cultivate a positive workplace culture and accomplish group objectives.
- Regularly conduct audits on work being performed by the team.
- Reinforce that all standards are met regarding customer service provided by the team.
- Confirm that technicians carry out repair work to customers effectively, correctly, and thoroughly.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to address field issues promptly and implement appropriate solutions.
- Identifying and implementing business improvement initiatives.
- An ability to multi-task and think on your feet.
- Be a proactive thinker, and ability to work within a team to achieve results.
To excel in this role, the selected candidate will need to have:
- Have proven experience (3+ years) in managing a service department.
- Strong operational and safety leadership skills with the ability and desire to mentor, coach, and engage your team.
- Experience working as a Service Manager
- Previous experience such as managing plumbing, fire, mechanical or electrical sub- contractors.
- Effective communicator at all levels
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Strong managerial skills and experience with the ability to drive delivery from team.
