What you need to have: QualificationsA Diploma in Early Childhood Education (Or ACECQA equivalent) A current and valid Working with Children Check or ability to maintain one. First Aid Certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis. Skills and AttributesComprehensive knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS) to ensure quality practices and outcomes for children. Familiarity with the Education and Care Services National Law and National Regulations, ensuring the Service remains compliant. Proven ability to lead, inspire and manage a team of educators, ensuring optimal performance and staff retention. Capability to handle day-to-day operations, including staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation. Other Desirable Skills and KnowledgeExperience in a previous Service Manager, Centre Director, Centre Manager role or similar. Skills to address and resolve conflicts or challenges that may arise among staff or with families. Experience in budgeting, financial planning, and resource management. Ability to utilize relevant software for management, communication, and reporting purposes.
