About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Manager to lead staff at our Head Office in Herries Street. To be successful in this role you will either have a background in NDIS management or Operational leadership. This role is vital in maintaining close working relationships with clients and stakeholders, relatives, community members, and the support team. We are seeking a Service Manager who will be confident in ensuring the team provide the best possible care and service to our residents. You will be proficient at operating in a regulatory environment, leading a large team and mitigating risk whilst effectively assisting daily operations with the Operations Manager.
About you
You are an experienced and enthusiastic leader with a passion for excellence and you genuinely want to make a difference. Your key experience will include:
- Leadership experience managing a diverse workforce preferably in a Disability environment, Health Care or Operational setting.
- Experience managing a large team operating in a fast-paced 24/7 service delivery environment
- Proven ability to achieve results and meet key targets
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to jump in to assist Office staff where needed
- Knowledge of the NDIS Practice Standards, and legislation (desirable)
- Strong leadership skills and excellent interpersonal skills
- Some HR experience (desirable)
- Experience with enacting quality Policy and Procedure (Compliance)
- Willingness to provide some on-call support to staff and clients after hours
- Current open driver’s license
- National Police Clearance (obtained within the last 6 months)
- A desire to be rewarded for outstanding work
