This position will see you utilising your well-developed leadership skills and your strong service experience to oversee their Service Department.
In this challenging role you will be responsible for improving and maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency, ensuring the viability and profitability of the Service Department, with particular focus on customer satisfaction & retention.
Main duties of the role:
- Providing strong leadership, motivation and accountability to workshop and service staff, aligning activities with the broader business plan
- marketing of the Service Department, ensuring growth in revenue whilst controlling expenses
- reporting of the department's actual sales performance against set targets
- monitoring and maintaining a safe workplace in accordance with OH&S requirements.
- Previous Service Manager experience in the automotive industry is essential
- Strong working knowledge of the automotive industry,
- Effective time management skills,
- Excellent communication skills
- A strong focus on providing exceptional customer service.
- Qualifications in the automotive/mechanical field will be highly regarded
