We have a great opportunity going in Toowoomba, Queensland. It is for a Service Manager in a truck dealership for a company that is well respected in the area whilst additionally servicing rural towns west of the area.The Role
Controlling the operation of the Service Department, generating profit, monitoring staff performance - efficiencies, productivity. Providing leadership and mentoring your team. Furnishing new business and protecting existing clientele - maintaining high customer satisfaction & retention. Marketing the business to ensure growth whilst controlling expenses.

The company operate five truck and equipment dealerships across Queensland & Northern New South Wales. The dealer has been around for several years and has continued to expand throughout sales, service and parts with both brands and staffing. Role Responsibilities & Competences
- Previous Service Manager experience in the automotive industry is preferred, heavy vehicle/ large fleet dealings
- Effective time management & communication skills,
- A strong focus on providing exceptional customer service.
- Auto IT DMS experience/knowledge - an advantage
- Commitment to exceed customer expectations
- Attention to detail and highly structured
- Ability to develop and mentor your team whilst motivating and driving team performance
- Able to monitor performance & implement performance management where required
- Superior mentoring abilities, coupled with the ability to effectively delegate
- Commitment to safe work practices and adherence to WHS legislation
- Ability to read/comprehend financial reports of the department, recognize issues, investigate & rectify
- Excellent work ethic and time management skills
- Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Preference of holding a HR License (Forklift license will also be viewed favourably)
