Position Overview:
As the BMW Service Manager, you'll be at the helm of all service operations, meticulously orchestrating efficiency, profitability, and elevating customer satisfaction to unprecedented levels. Leading a team of adept technicians and service advisors, you'll cultivate a positive work culture, all while maintaining BMW's renowned reputation for excellence and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Management: Inspire and guide the service team towards surpassing performance targets and delivering unmatched customer experiences.
- Customer Service: Guarantee every customer receives swift, courteous, and efficient service, swiftly addressing any concerns or queries.
- Operations Management: Supervise the day-to-day functioning of the service department, from scheduling to workflow, ensuring optimal productivity.
- Financial Performance: Keep a vigilant eye on the department's financial health, meticulously managing budgets, expenses, and overall profitability.
- Quality Control: Uphold unwavering standards of service quality, ensuring all repairs and maintenance adhere strictly to BMW's exacting specifications.
- Training & Development: Facilitate continuous learning and growth opportunities for service staff, ensuring they remain at the forefront of the latest BMW technologies and service methodologies with Manufacturer support.
To be successful, you will need to have the following attributes:
- Experience in a similar dealership or Premium Service Environment
- Showcase a proven track record in meeting Service Department KPIs while exhibiting exceptional time management abilities
- Comprehensive understanding of automotive systems, diagnostics and repair procedures
- A strong commitment to customer service with a focus on surpassing each and every customer's expectation, every time.
- Excellent written and face to face communication skills
- Competent Computer Diagnostic skills (Auto-IT / Units DMS experience highly regarded)
- Be a team player but have the ability to work autonomously when required
- Enthusiastic, hard-working, and reliable
