We are currently looking for an experienced Service Supervisorwith either an electrical and/or mechanical background to lead our team of Crane Technicians operating in Whyalla, SA.
About the Job:
- Work closely with major client representatives
- Supervising a team of service technicians
- Planning and scheduling the job allocation and work flow work on Overhead Cranes and associated equipment
- Manage jobs from quotation to close out
- Quotations for service, inspection and repairs
- Assume responsibility for the quality of work produced by the department and compliance with company and client policies and procedures
- Take responsibility for the team's safety management
- Reporting and budgeting
About YOU:
- Overhead crane inspection and maintenance experience
- Solid experience working in a mining environment
- Familiarity with electrical / mechanical and relevant crane Standards
- Experience in a supervisory role
- Competent in MS office suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Be well organised and show effective time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Be safety conscious and promote a safe environment
- Strong customer focus
- Strong business acumen
- Salary negotiable depending on qualifications and experience
