What’s on Offer
- Opportunity – Part time Contract position – minimum 10 hours per week to cover operations of the Gawler Sport and Community Centre in the evening starting at 4.30pm to approx. 9.30pm and some weekend shifts ranging in hours between 8.30am to 3.30pm.

About You
The Town of Gawler is seeking to employ a highly motivated Customer and Community focused person who will be responsible for the operation of the Gawler Sport and Community Centre shift supervision, administrative support and program delivery. This role is perfect for anyone wanting a career change, flexible working environment or someone looking to start a career in Sport and Recreation.
Previous recreation experience is not essential to be successful in this role as the right candidates will be provided additional training and development. Opportunities for renewal after the initial 12-month contract are also available.
Additional shifts are also offered for the successful applicants as Recreation Attendant at the Gawler Sport and Community Centre ($30.54 per hour).
This is an exciting and varied role that will entail:
- Day-to-day facility operations
- Program facilitation and supervision
- Administration support
- Facility presentation and maintenance
- Customer service
- Developing relationships with members of the community
To be successful in securing a position, you will hold the below or be willing to obtain prior to commencement.
- Current Provide First Aid and CPR
- Department of Human Services Working with Children Check
