Service Support Officer

  • Salary Range Band 3 $65,495 - $69,335 plus 11% Super
  • Permanent full-time position based at South Melbourne operations centre. 
  • Hours of Work Monday - Friday 8.00am to 4.00pm

About the Role

Our Street and Beach Services team seeks an energetic team player who has a strong customer service approach and communication skills to provide support to operational teams that undertake quality core services to the community. The successful candidate will support the Supervisors, staff of Street and Beach Service and Operations leaders, ensuring the team remains focused on customer service delivery/response, operational reporting requirements and staff training programs. The Service Support Officer will be directly responsible for maintaining high standards of Service Support and responding to the community, complaint management and customer service ensuring support is provided to operations leaders and teams. 

The role will be primarily focused on all aspects of request management and internal Service Support for the department to allow operational teams to focus on providing service outcomes to the highest standards for our community.

Duties:

  • Lead customer request and work order processing across the street and beach service teams including mechanic workshop team. 
  • Support street and beach services across a range of administrative tasks
  • Engage with customers, supervisors, drivers, and internal staff on a daily basis to support service delivery.

Skills and Experience 

  • Administrative experience in a customer-facing service environment
  • Previous experience in a blue-collar operational environment
  • Engagement and communication skills coupled with mid to high-level computer literacy skills.
