Servicing Adviser/2IC | $120k package | North Sydney

Exclusive to Jenner Recruitment our client is looking for a Servicing Financial Planner/Associate Adviser to work for with the two Senior Planners/Owners of the business.

Our customer is presently undergoing an expansion stage and is seeking an exceptional service professional to join their high-end advisory team.

The Role

Reporting and working with two Senior Financial Planners, you will be a critical member of the Financial Planning team.  In this small and close-knit team of qualified and experienced staff, you will have an opportunity to make a real contribution. You will be managing relationships with existing clients, and providing high quality, holistic advice to in conjunction with/for the planners. You will be assisted with Senior Client Service Support and infrastructure to allow you to focus on the relationship of the client base.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Actively work in a 2IC capacity to service an existing client base and provide high-quality advice in a legally compliant manner
• Prepare client files and have an understanding of client requirements prior to client interviews with the Senior Planner
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client data
• Develop appropriate strategies and advice aligned with client's current situation and future lifestyle goals in conjunction with the Senior Planners
• Preparation of notes/documentation prior to client appointments with the Senior Planner
• Ensure accuracy in all final documented advice before presenting to clients
• Stay updated on products and trends in financial planning
• Undertake ongoing training to remain skilled 
• Help manage workflow to support staff and participate in staff meetings
• Other duties as required 

This role has the flexibiity to work from home up to 4 days per week with either one or two in the office for team meetings, client appointments etc.

About You

To succeed with this role you will have thorough knowledge of the financial planning industry and have potentially previously been a planner.

Ideally we are looking for someone who has worked within a team management environment, has been a planner or is looking to be a career Associate Adviser.  You will need to have a client focus on everything that you do, strong attention to detail together with your excellent organisational skills to ensure your success within this role.

To be successful in this role you will need to have experience with the following:

• At least 3 years of proven experience as an Associate Adviser or Financial Adviser
• Possession of appropriate Financial Planning qualifications and successful completion of the FASEA exam is a must
• Hold an compliant Authorised Representative license
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Team-oriented mindset, fostering open and collaborative working relationships.
• Ability to manage priorities and handle conflicting issues professionally, with a commitment to discretion and confidentiality.
• Ongoing training and professional development will be supported.
• A strong understanding of current legislation
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Strong skills in Word and Excel
