What are we looking for?

Join our National Settlements Team!This is a permanent full-time role based in our Ringwood office with a dynamic and experienced team to support you (2 days in office and 3 from home after training).

 Whether you have experience in banking, finance or the legal field and are looking for a new challenge, this is a great way to broaden your existing skill set with an established company in the area of billing and settlements to help finalise and settle legal matters, as well as working alongside experienced lawyers and support staff.

 In the role you can expect to be responsible for:  

  •  Establish and maintain professional working relationships with key stakeholders
  •  Preparing and finalising bills
  •  Accurate accounting
  •  Allocation and distribution of client compensation
  •  Communicating with Clients, Statutory bodies, other Legal firms and Insurers
  •  Understanding and keeping up to date with changes to cost and trust regulations
  •  Financial and debt review
  •  Actively contribute to the enhancement of processes and procedures 
  • What will you bring?

    This role will ideally suit someone with a legal administration background (not essential) and has a sound understanding of the billing and settlement process. Our ideal candidate will also bring the following skills and attributes to the role:  

  •  Strong communication skills  
  •  High level of accuracy and attention to detail  
  •  Strong numerical literacy and problem solving skills
  •   Ability to take initiative, work to deadlines and multitask  
  •  Strong prioritisation & time management skills  
  • Expertise with the MS Office suite  
  •  Strong client relationship skills
  • Proactive and flexible work approach, including being a team player
