To be successful in the role you must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum 3 -5 years experience in an estimating role
- Minimum 5 years experience working within the sheetmetal industry (must be trade qualified - Cert 3 Metal Engineering Sheetmetal)
- Experience in managing multiple tenders and projects with critical deadlines
- The ability to read and comprehend architectural and engineering designs and drawings- as well as basic sketches.
- Competency at intermediate/advance level in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Current Drivers Licence
- Full Right to Work in Australia
- Construction Industry White Card
Responsibilities include:
- Attend job/construction sites to obtain dimensions for quote preparations
- Preparation of accurate quotes and tenders for sheet metal projects, within house via our in-house job management system
- Managing the efficient workflow of quotes and information for job packages to be issued to production
- Liaise with our inhouse Draftsman
- Attend Pre- Site meetings with the Production Manager before jobs are installed
- Offer support and clear communication with all clients throughout the job process
- Establish and maintain working relationships with vendors subcontractors, and employees

Structure- The position is full-time Monday to Friday (Probation period applies)
