Form of workWe are a family owned business in the Newcastle area looking for an experienced, fully qualified Sheetmetal Tradesmen to join our team. We operate a busy workshop with the manufacture of light to Medium fabrication work, along with Pool Fencing, Privacy Screen/Slat Panelling projects made from Aluminium.
This is a permanent position, pending 3 months’ probation, with the successful applicant to undertake the following responsibilities;
- Coordinate any required resources to complete projects within agreed timeframes.
- Ensure accuracy and quality of finished work
- Ability to complete, read & interpret drawings & specifications for projects where required.
To be considered you will;
- Have relevant trade qualifications or relevant trade experience.
- Experience in Mig/Tig welding
- Have experience working in a busy hands on environment
- Attention to detail, quality, accuracy & safety.
Mandatory requirements include:
- A neat & tidy presentation on a daily basis.
- Strong work ethic.
- Current Drivers Licence. (Preferred, but not essential)
There is scope for overtime hours with the current workload on hand.
