About The Role
We are embarking on an exciting growth phase for the business and as a result we have an opportunity for a Shipping Officer for a FIXED Term period of 12 months supporting the business across all the TTI brands.
Working in a hybrid role you will be based at our brand-new offices in Notting Hill and Mt Waverley.
Reporting directly to the Shipping Supervisor your day to day will include:
- Collating commercial invoices and shipping documents for all Finished Goods orders.
- Liaison with Suppliers, Supply Planners and Freight Forwarders to obtain documents that have not been sent through or are incorrect.
- Creating Inbounds for all shipments sent to TTI Australia and New Zealand warehouses.
- Liaison with our DC inbound and inventory team managing inbound variances
- Approve stock/supplier invoices for Accounts Payable to process
- Check and approve all freight and forwarder invoices.
- Monitor and collate complaints regarding damaged stock/short shipments
- Obtain all Duty Rates on new products
- Working closely with Demand & Supply Planning to problem solve any delay issues
About You
Ideally you will have worked in a fast-paced environment and have previous experience in a shipping, inventory/logistics or import /export role working to tight deadlines. In addition you will have the following skills and attributes:
- Excellent attention to detail
- Prior experience in using SAP advantageous but not essential
- Good analytical and communication skills
- Strong ability to prioritise
- Strong skills in Excel
- Can-do attitude and a team player
