About the Company

A leading Australian manufacturer with over 35 years of experience in joinery, fitout, and construction across retail, commercial, and hospitality sectors is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager.

About the Role

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will join a strong Sales and Estimating Team and play a key role in driving new business within the retail shopfitting sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement successful business development strategies to secure new clients.
• Manage existing Client Relationships and build strong partnerships.
• Conduct market research and identify new business opportunities.
• Prepare proposals and presentations tailored to client needs.
• Negotiate contracts and ensure profitable project acquisition.
• Contribute to the overall growth and success of the Sales and Estimating Team.

Your Qualifications

• Proven sales experience within the retail sector, ideally with established brands in major shopping centers.
• Demonstrated understanding of the retail shopfitting industry.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with proficiency in written, oral, and email communication.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• A positive and proactive approach to client interaction.
• Established network of contacts within the retail sector a plus.
