Yardware is a leader in outdoor high-end furniture, and has been servicing our clients for over 35 years. We are seeking a sales Consultant to join our team at our Alexandria Location, dealing with Residential and Trade clients.

About you:
- Proven track record of surpassing sales targets in high-end retail environments.
- Previous sales experience, ideally selling furniture or high-value items such as jewellery, cars, bedding, luxury goods / travel, etc.
- Comfortable in committing to work weekends (Saturdays), this is a requirement of the role.
- Well presented, fun and friendly.
- Have a passion for design, fabrics, and sales.
- Positive attitude and mindset required.
- Ability to work on custom-made designs with our clients and offer advice and guide them.
- Great communicator and highly organised.
- Proficiency in basic software applications, computers, tablets, smartphones and other devices
- Available to work during weekends and peak sales periods including public holidays.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Sales:
- Meet and exceed sales targets for profit, revenue, conversion rate, and average order value
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of products and suggest improvements to product and sales processes
- Develop and nurture leads through various channels including in-store, online, and over the phone
- Clearly understand and follow the sales process
Customer Service:
- Welcome customers to the store and respond to their inquiries in-store, online, and over the phone
- Establish and maintain good customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction
Administration:
- Ensure all orders and customer information are entered correctly and accurately in the system
Maintenance:
- Ensure the showroom and products are well presented and tidy
Merchandising:
- Ensure showroom products are displayed with correct price tags
