Not for profit tax benefits increasing your take home pay ABOUT THE ROLE You will report to and work with Manager, Aged Care Advocate and Complaints to ensure The Salvation Army Aged Care (TSAAC) is compliant with the Serious Incident Response Scheme (SIRS) and associated Aged Care Legislation, National Disability Insurance Scheme (Restrictive Practice and Behaviour Support) 2018 and associated legislation with regards to: Serious Incident Response Scheme (SIRS) Incidents NDIS Reportable incidents Behavioural support plans Restrictive practice ABOUT YOU
You have the passion for education, sharing knowledge and best practice to ensure relevant staff are suitably trained. You have sound computer and report writing skills, and you thrive on data analysis and completing recurring and ad hoc reports. The major stakeholders for you will be Manager Clinical Systems and Data Analytics, TSAAC Executive Team, TSA Quality and Safeguarding, NDIS Commission and of course our Centre Managers, Care Managers and Registered Nurses.
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candiates with: A commitment to the mission and values of The Salvation Army Bachelor of Nursing or Certificate IV in Disability or equivalent qualification Significant experience working with people with disabilities and aged care consumers Experience in management of stakeholder relationships Capability with navigating and managing the MyAgedCare for SIRS reporting and NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission environment for NDIS reportable incidents An understanding of the SIRS, NDIS legislation and NDIS Quality & Safeguarding reporting framework Demonstrated experience of timely and accurate data management across systems Demonstrated good written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
