Industrial Batteries Australia is Australia's largest independently owned and operated Forklift Battery and Charger supplier.
Exclusively representing the Exide Industries “CEIL” Industrial Battery products range in Australia, over the past 10 years our company has grown to become and award winning and industry leading company, servicing Original Equipment Forklift Manufacturers, Independent Companies and End User Electric Forklift and Motive Power requirements.
We supply a national service and support structure to our valued clients across our stand alone branches in VIC, QLD, SA and WA, with our Head Office located in Wetherill Park Sydney. We currently have a team of over 30 full time staff Nationally. Our Head Office team is supportive, inclusive and always willing to assist and help individuals to thrive within the business.
About the role
Immediate start available for the right candidate with an opportunity for long term employment. Previous experience within the Forklift or Battery industry is not a requirement for this position.
This role will consist of working alongside Head Office Management, organising Service work, Job scheduling, data entry and maintaining exceptional customer service to our existing and potential customers and suppliers. The role is full time – 38 hours per week, inside our office hours 7am-5pm Monday-Friday.
IBA are seeking a highly organised individual who is eager to learn and works well in a supportive team environment.
The successful applicant will have the following Skills and Experience:
- Be proficient in computer use
- Able to work independently
- Organisation and Time management skills
- Ability to be able to converse professionally with our customer base
- Manage incoming and outgoing calls with professional phone manner
- Capable, eager and willing to learn new skills
- Assisting sales and service team with client calls, and follow up
- Raising jobs and managing purchase orders. This will include assisting with Service coordination on a daily basis
- Assisting with customer queries via email
- Existing and new Customer Management
- Administration duties, data entry and filing
- Strong attention to detail
- A true team player with a great attitude
- Proven ability to collect required details and assist with Management
