Golding is in search of a Site Administration Officer to join out project team at Baralaba Mining Project.
This position offers a permanent DIDO (Drive-In, Drive-Out) arrangement with the following roster: Monday to Friday, starting at 6am to 5:00 pm, with early finish on Friday’s at 1:00 pm. Upon successful completion of training and demonstration of the ability to perform tasks to a high standard and meet site requirements and demand, the role will transition to a 7-day-on, 7-day-off roster. For non-local candidates, camp accommodation and meals will be provided
The key focus of this position is to deliver effective administration support services to the project, contributing to the attainment of project goals. The successful candidate will be a diligent individual, who is an effective and honest communicator that has an ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office, coupled with a willingness to acquire new skills and manage high workloads effectively. A proactive and well-organized approach to work, combined with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, will be crucial for success in this role. Previous on-site experience in a mining environment is highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the professional initial point of contact for both walk-in visitors and telephone enquiries
- Perform site filing duties in accordance with the GMS requirements
- Organise and archive site files as per project guidelines.
- Establish and maintain current site document control in alignment with GMS standards.
- Input labour confirmations into SAP
- Scan and input defect reports, delivery dockets, maintenance service sheets, brake test sheets, and other requested documents as directed by Project Management.
- Execute tasks in accordance with the P2P system, including but not limited to creating Purchase Requisitions and goods receipting.
- Uphold a high standard of P2P hygiene as per system guidelines.
- Manage new vendor setup processes.
- Coordinate roster management for each department (shared responsibility among site administrators), reconcile attendance from the roster to Clementine, shift logs & pre-start tick sheet.
- Collaborate with camp management to ensure bookings are arranged for all staff, crews, and ad hoc labour
- Perform ad hoc tasks such as entering production data into Clementine as per project reporting requirements and generating production reports from Clementine as requested by management.
Key role capabilities:
- Proficiency in SAP (Highly Desirable)
- Familiarity with ESKER (Highly Desirable)
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Previous experience with high-volume data entry
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong analytical and mathematical abilities
