Site Administrator - Short Term Contract

29Metals is an ASX listed, copper focused base and precious metals mining company with a portfolio of long-life producing assets and a pipeline of organic growth opportunities. The company has two producing assets: Golden Grove in Western Australia and Capricorn Copper in Queensland and a strategic tenement package and project in Redhill, Chile.

Our Capricorn Copper Mine located just 125km North of Mount Isa, in one of Australia’s most prolific base metal provinces. With a 10-year mine life, our high-grade resource is one of the region’s largest copper deposits, with a steady state operation extracting 1.8Mtpa from 3 deposits. 

We are currently seeking a Site Administrator to join our friendly Admin team for a 3-month maternity coverage.  Reporting to the Commercial Superintendent, this position is accountable for a variety of administrative tasks based at site. This role will be 4:3 BIBO from Mount Isa.

Key Accountabilities:

• General site administration duties as required;
• Travel and accommodation bookings;
• Point of contact for Contractor Management enquiries;
• Maintaining the Mine Record Entries in accordance with legislation;
• Perform data entry to MYOSH;
• Ensure the timely distribution of reports, memos, and other general correspondence is generated; and
• Assist with Co-ordinating and managing the day-to-day visitors to site.

What we are looking for:

• Demonstrated experience as a Site Administrator within the Mining or Construction industry;
• Certificate in Business Administration (desirable);
• Pronto experience would be preferred;
• Competent with Microsoft Office suite of products;
• Excellent time management, including experience in managing conflicting priorities to support a diverse team; and
• Process driven with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
