Residential Site Manager

ABOUT THE COMPANY 

Elliott Hardie Homes is a locally owned residential building company with a reputation for building quality custom homes. Catering for clients wanting a complete custom home to suit their specific needs to suit their lifestyle, Elliott Hardie homes offer a benchmark service from design all the way to handover. We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manger to join our team. 

THE ROLE

• Pre-Construction Administration – audit, review, and planning of all projects to ensure contract, selections and documentation requirements are achieved. 
• Interpret and enter take-off to Purchase Orders (raised by Estimator)
• Liaise with trades, sub-contractors, suppliers, architects.
• Prepare and issue scope of works against plans and contract.

KEY SKILLS

• Structural knowledge and experience in Australian residential construction 
• Certificate IV in Building and Construction highly desirable
• Minimum three years in a similar role required
• Time management skills and attention to detail
• Ability to interpret Architectural & Engineering Plans and Contracts
• Proven successful support and management in the delivery of construction projects
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders and colleagues
• The ability to work alone to self-imposed deadlines but also work as part of the team
• Skilled and effective communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in the use of MS Word and Excel a must
• BuilderTrend software experience desirable
