**Position: Site Construction Supervisor**
**Location:** Queensland, Australia
**Responsibilities:**
As a Site Construction Supervisor at Coops QLD Construction, you will play a crucial role in the successful execution of our projects. You will have both the ability to work hands on, as well as carry out some office duties. You will have great communication skills and have the interest and ability to understand multiple facets of the business.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing projects from conception to completion, ensuring project milestones are met.
- Coordinating workflow and orders to ensure efficient project execution.
- Communicating with customers and suppliers to ensure project goals and timeframes are met, encompassing planning and delivery aspects.
- Attending site meetings as required to provide technical expertise and support.
- Managing and negotiating any site rectifications or variations that may arise during the project lifecycle.
- Coordinating deliveries, including scheduling dates and times, assessing site conditions, determining offloading methods, and confirming delivery with customers.
- Reviewing Statements of Work (SOW) and contracts to ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Setting up payment schedules and submitting progress claims to the Accounts team.
- Creating variations and delay notices when necessary to address changes in project scope or timeline.
- Ensuring project timelines and budgets are adhered to by implementing effective project management strategies.
- Managing project documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Optimizing processes and procedures to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
- Maintaining project information and timelines in the system and preparing reports to track project performance.
- Identifying and acknowledging primary project risks and challenges to establish effective mitigations.
- Ensuring worksite safety for subcontracted trades by implementing and monitoring safety protocols.
- Managing and monitoring the quality of work completed by subcontractors to uphold project standards.
- Preparing site permits and inductions for staff to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Managing quality production as defined by method statements and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
- Establishing, measuring, and reporting daily productivity for assigned activities.
**Qualifications:**
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
- Some exposure to projects ranging from $2 to $4 million in value.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.
- Experience in optimizing processes and procedures for improved project efficiency.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
