We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Building Rectification/Remedial Foreman/Supervisor on the Gold Coast.
The projects completed by this Team are very diverse and challenging and can include cladding replacement, podium refurbishments, concrete structural repairs, steel repairs, remediation and rectification, upgrades and improvements, work at heights and many other diverse and challenging scenarios.
About the role
As an Asset Renewal Foreman/Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing both new and remedial construction projects. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks aimed at rectifying and improving buildings' structural elements. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in building construction and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Supervisor: Lead and manage building rectification and remedial projects from inception to completion, ensuring all aspects meet the highest quality and compliance standards.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and guide trades, ensuring a cohesive and efficient workflow. Provide mentorship and support to enhance team members' skills and capabilities.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain strict quality control measures to guarantee that all works meet industry standards and client expectations.
- Site Inspections: Conduct thorough site inspections to assess the scope of work, identify potential issues, and develop effective remedial strategies whilst working alongside the Client and Project Manager.
- Documentation and Reporting: Report project progress, issues encountered, and resolutions. Maintain accurate documentation of all construction activities.
- Client Communication: Foster positive relationships with clients by providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
About You - Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in building construction, with a focus on both new and renewal works.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and industry regulations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Relevant certifications and licenses in building and construction.
- A person who is enthusiastic, self-motivated and quality driven
- Be able to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Good computer/mobile device skills for daily use of Programs & Apps (e.g. Procore)
