About the role
As Site Manager you will be responsible for maintaining a high quality of work and keeping projects built within time frames and within budget. You will be an active member of the site project team.
Your other key responsibilities include:
- Responsible for the management of all building & construction activities of the project
- Responsible for building & construction, scheduling, costs, industrial relations, safety, environmental and quality aspects of the project.
- Required to maintain harmonious relations with the client and a good public image of the company.
- Adherence to the Focus Management System Manual and Project Management Plan.
Qualifications, Competencies and Experience
To be successful in this role, you should hold the following skills & experience:
- Industry relevant tertiary qualifications.
- Tilt-Panel Supervisor Ticket
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in building & construction with minimum 2 years in leadership position.
- Competent in understanding and promoting HSE imperatives and FMS procedures.
- Proven record in planning, organising, and leading a diverse labour force.
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Sound negotiation and problem solving skills, clear communication verbal and written.
- Manages to timeframes, cost conscious, and achievement driven.
