This is our largest site in Australia, which makes butter and spreads, and fresh milk for both China and domestic markets.About the opportunityDue to an internal promotion, we are looking to appoint a new Site Manager, to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Cobden production facility.We are seeking a strong people leader to provide strategic leadership, drive operational excellence, and ensure the overall success of the site.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve operational objectives and drive continuous improvement
- Lead and inspire a high-performing team to deliver exceptional results across production, quality, and safety
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including employees, suppliers, and customers
- Identify and mitigate operational risks to ensure the safety of employees and the integrity of the production process.
- High level experience in a similar role, preferably within the dairy or food production industry (desirable not a must) or a Production Management, or Engineering Management background
- Strong leaderships skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse workforce
- Sound knowledge of work, health and safety regulations and legislation with a commitment to promoting a culture of safety
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively within a matrix organization
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
