The Position
As Site Manager, you will be primarily responsible for ensuring continued site efficiency, understanding all aspects of the grain receival, storage, handling and out loading of commodities stored at the facility, and maintaining an intimate level of understanding around the policies of the business.
You will look to develop an established team on site, and ensuring proper inductions and practices are followed for any seasonal staff to maintain a high level of site safety and quality. Maintaining a connection with local growers and assisting with any local issues or business promotion will be a key element of the role, as you look to ensure our client is a preferred supplier in the region.
The Person
To be successful in this role, you will have experience in commodity storage roles, ideally in a grains environment and be a natural people leader. You will have excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, and be competent with inventory management systems. You will ideally have a confined space ticket, a drivers license and telehandler / FEL licence.
