Job Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Site Manager to join our Regional Service Team and lead our Grosvenor Mine site-based team. This position, though specifically for Grosvenor, may require that you are utilized from time to time on other mine sites.
Key Job Responsibilities
Reporting to the Queensland Regional Service Manager, the position is responsible for ensuring that the day-to-day site and business requirements are managed effectively: site safety, equipment maintenance, breakdown response, staff rostering, customer liaison, reporting mechanisms, single point of contact for our customer, as per our contractual agreement. You will play an integral role in liaising with the site management team maintaining excellent customer relationships both internally and externally.
Qualifications/Requirements
To be successful in this role you will need Mechanical/Electrical trade and/or engineering with underground mining experience on longwall/development equipment focused on:
- A high level of customer service skills
- Strong time management skills
- Great attention to detail
- An ability to build and foster relationships
- To actively support and coordinate a team of service personnel
- To be able to monitor and report on product performance
- Experience with heavy machinery or them mining industry
- To be devoted to continuous improvement processes
