Design & Build Recruitment is working with a renowned construction company dedicated to delivering exceptional projects. Currently, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to lead from the front on 2 new build projects. This is a permanent position with a strong pipeline ahead.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful completion of the project within specified timelines, budget constraints, and the highest quality standards. You will work closely with dedicated project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Coordinate and liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to maintain smooth project progress.
- Develop and implement construction schedules, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budgetary constraints.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality and address any issues promptly.
- Foster a positive and collaborative working environment to enhance team performance and morale.
- Keep on top of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure project compliance.
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on projects $30M +
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Adept at problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field.
- Australian Citizenship required
