Job Summary: Our client, a leading company in the Food Manufacturing industry, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Site Operations Manager to oversee all aspects of their flagship facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the site, managing daily activities, and leading a team to achieve operational excellence. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of operational processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the site, ensuring all processes run smoothly and efficiently.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of operations staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement within the operations and implement effective solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure all operations are conducted in compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Resource Management: Manage resources effectively, including staff, equipment, and materials, to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the site’s operational budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial sustainability.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of operational processes and make data-driven decisions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as logistics, quality control, and maintenance, to ensure cohesive operations.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance, issues, and improvements to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Leadership: Proven experience in leading and managing a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using operations management software and other relevant IT tools.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of operational processes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
