Busy Tier 2 builder are looking for an experienced Site Supervisor for a $200 mil Education Project in Sydney's North West.They are an industry leader, winning continuous work and specialise in projects up to $700 mil.
As the Site Supervisor, you will work closely with the Site Manager to oversee the successful delivery of projects, ensuring adherence to safety standards, quality benchmarks, and project timelines. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, coordinating subcontractors, and communicating effectively with the project team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Site Manager in coordinating and supervising all construction activities
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Oversee the excavation, structure and finishes phases of the project
- Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project objectives are met
- Provide leadership and guidance to site staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Monitor project progress and report to the Site Manager on a regular basis
- Act as a mentor to junior staff, preparing them for future leadership roles
- Proven experience as a Foreman delivering projects in excess of $50m
- Previous experience with Tier 1-2 or well known T3 construction companies
- Good proven tenure at previous companies
- Strong commitment to safety and excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in managing excavation and structure phases of construction projects
- A can do attitude and good work ethic.
- Ability to effectively lead a team and solve problems under pressure
