ABOUT THE COMPANY.

ABOUT THE POSITION.
As a Site Supervisor you will be involved in overseeing and co-ordinating a variety of different builds, including:
- Granny Flats
- Townhouses
- Aged care
- Boarding houses
- Duplex
- Houses
Your main duty will be to ensure the daily operations run smoothly on each job while making sure all trades are completing their tasks at a high standard while following all OH&S guidelines.
DUTIES.
- Reporting directly to the Director
- Coordination & management of all project stakeholders including clients, authorities, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, etc.
- Project planning, scheduling, monitoring & adapting the works, as required, to meet targets
- Managing all incoming and outgoing project documentation
- Interpreting drawings and specifications
- Ensuring adherence to building legislation and standards of performance, quality and safety
- Implementation and management of the company WH&S Policies and Plans
- Liaising with local authorities to achieve the project objectives
- Minimizing project risk and maximizing project opportunities
- Coordinate trades and sub-contractors
- Ensure time restraints are adhered to
- Conduct site inductions and tool box talks
- Ensure contractors are adhering to their time frames.
- Working out quantities and ordering materials to site for subcontractors
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
The appointed applicant will report directly to the Director and must possess the following:
- Qualification in Building & Construction related degree or diploma
- A minimum of 5+ years’ experience in the residential construction industry
- Strong track record as a Project Manager
- Strong computer literacy skills including ability to use Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills
- Ability to take responsibility for project outcomes
- Ability to set own goals and work independently
- Ability to lead and manage a Project Team to meet the desired outcomes
- Eye for detail
- Self-motivated and strong work ethic
- Can do attitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
