We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Site Supervisor to oversee remedial and cathodic protection projects on public infrastructure throughout the city of Sydney. As a Site Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of these projects, safeguarding the integrity and longevity of vital structures within our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate remedial and cathodic protection projects on public infrastructure, including bridges, boardwalks, stairways, walls and other critical assets.
- Supervise and manage onsite personnel, subcontractors, and resources to ensure adherence to project timelines, budgetary constraints, and quality standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify potential risks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and safety protocols.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to develop and implement effective project plans and strategies.
- Monitor project progress, track performance metrics, and provide regular updates to stakeholders on milestones, challenges, and achievements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in site supervision, preferably in the field of remedial and cathodic protection projects or related infrastructure construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques, with a focus on corrosion prevention and remediation.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire onsite teams to achieve project objectives safely, efficiently, and effectively.
- Sound understanding of relevant regulations, codes, and industry standards governing infrastructure construction and maintenance.
- Exceptional communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering superior results.
