Form of workA position is now available for an experienced, live in, full-time Lodge Manager/Cook for the 2024 Winter season.
Oldina Ski Club is a 14 bed accommodation Ski Lodge located in Perisher Valley.
We require a flexible, hard-working, experienced, reliable and efficient Lodge Manager to ensure exceptional customer service and to run our lodge on a day-to-day basis from 9am Monday 3rd June, 2024 and terminating at 5pm Thursday 10th October, 2024.
The role includes:
- Day to day Ski Lodge operations
- Welcoming guests and general guest liaison
- Regular liaison with the Club Booking Officer, Treasurer, Secretary & Chairman
- Cooking: Cooked breakfast and three course evening meal daily (Lodge Manager to have Wednesday morning off)
- Menu planning, ordering (on-line ordering) and collection of provisions (using Oldina’s skidoo & ski cart)
- Daily cleaning and maintaining appropriate presentation of common areas, kitchen & facilities
- Preparing bedrooms for new guests: changing of bed linen, cleaning bedroom & en-suite (a Casual Lodge Assistant will be employed on Sunday morning (main change over day) for part of the season to assist with cleaning and bed making etc)
- Ski cart drop off/collection of skis each afternoon
- Co-ordinating laundry pick-up / delivery
- Manage the Sunday Casual Lodge Assistant (position to be recruited by Lodge Manager)
- Successful applicant must have a current drivers licence (to drive the skidoo), NSW Food Safety Supervisors Certificate an ABN, and be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
- Successful applicant must have a current NSW Working with Children Check certificate.
- Optional: Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate.
The package includes:
- onsite accommodation (own bedroom (double size bed) with en-suite),
- all meals,
- car park (in Perisher Car Park),
- use of Oldina skidoo,
- salary from Monday 3rd June until Thursday 10th October, 2024.
