Job Description:

LYLA Clinic is looking for an experienced individual to join our team as a dental and dermatology receptionist. If you are passionate about providing exceptional customer service, have a keen eye for detail, and thrive in a team work environment, then this role is perfect for you.

Responsibilities:

As a receptionist at LYLA Clinic, you will play a vital role in providing outstanding customer service and ensuring the smooth functioning of our practice. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Welcoming and greeting patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Managing incoming calls and enquiries, directing them to the appropriate waiting areas.
  • Scheduling appointments for the dermatology, therapeutics, and dental areas.
  • Assisting patients with completing necessary forms and paperwork.
  • Managing, organising and maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Coordinating with the medical and support staff to ensure a seamless patient experience.
  • Managing the clinic's appointment calendar and optimising scheduling efficiency.
  • Handling payment transactions and managing billing enquiries.
  • Collaborating with the team to maintain a clean and organised reception area.
  • Perform other administrative duties as directed by the Office Manager or Principal Doctors.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Proven experience as a receptionist, preferably in a medical setting.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide a warm and welcoming environment for our clients.
  • Outstanding organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in a range of computer applications and operating systems, including (but not limited to) Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Windows, and macOS, Gentu Software and Core Practice.
  • Ability to multitask and handle a high volume of enquiries efficiently.
  • Knowledge of medical and aesthetic terminology is preferred but not required.
  • Must be available to work on the weekend.
