The practice is currently seeking an accomplished and dedicated Respiratory and Sleep Physician to join the team. The practice is very family orientated and is well managed.
Responsibilities: As a Respiratory and Sleep Physician, you will play a pivotal role in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of respiratory and sleep disorders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting thorough patient assessments and medical histories
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, including sleep studies, pulmonary function tests, and imaging studies
- Developing and implementing personalised treatment plans for respiratory and sleep conditions
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including respiratory therapists and sleep technologists
- Providing patient education on respiratory health, sleep hygiene, and treatment options
- Keeping abreast of advancements in respiratory and sleep medicine
- Medical degree and specialisation in Respiratory Medicine and/or Sleep Medicine
- Current registration with the Medical Board of Australia
- Proven expertise in diagnosing and managing a broad range of respiratory and sleep disorders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
