Responsible for managing the relationship and business strategies for less complex accounts (regional, single business unit, internal, etc.). May have responsibility for larger, more complex accounts when paired with a more senior account manager. Responsibilities include selling the organization's products to assigned business customers to achieve sales goals, expanding existing customer relationships and executing account sales plans in support of business strategy.
- Develops and manages an assigned sales channel (e.g. customers in NSW/VIC/SA/TAS) in order to produce a high degree of profitability and market share growth.
- Provide selling, coaching and developmental support for customers to improve their knowledge and expertise.
- Performs field-based marketing activities such as collecting data on the competitors' capabilities, emerging markets, and customers' needs.
- Acts as distributor liaison to resolve day-to-day issues that result in rapid problem solving, improved partner effectiveness, and offers solutions to increase customer satisfaction.
- Proactively create and develop relationships with key partners within target organisations.
- Achieve set sales budgets and KPIs.
