About the role

We have an opportunity for a highly motivated and creative Social Media and Content Specialist to join our e-Commerce team based at Eagle Farm, Brisbane. Reporting to the e-Commerce Manager, you will be a key member of our growing e-comm team. Your fresh ideas and technical knowledge will help the team plan, implement, and deliver a best in class social and digital experience.

This role requires an individual who has a positive team attitude, and the ability to communicate effectively with our fans, while maintaining consistent brand alignment. This role is available for an immediate start.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Support the e-Commerce Manager in the development of the strategic digital marketing plan for the outdoor division

• Develop and execute Social Media strategies across various platforms to increase brand awareness and engagement.

• Manage Social Media accounts and schedule content for daily posts while engaging with our followers

• Proactively manage the Social Media inbox/messaging flow along with other stakeholders for timely resolutions

• Develop and maintain a content calendar for Social Media and ensure timely and consistent execution of content

• Proactively engage with sales, product, customer service teams

• Creating, curating, and managing published content, images, video, blogs

• Understanding of our brands, products, and customers to ensure copy and Content is aligned with marketing strategy and reflects brand

• Identify opportunities to grow our following and increase engagement across multiple platforms

• Engage in dialogue and answer customer questions via owned channels

• Creating and managing promotions and social advertising campaigns

• Develop and build relationships with key online influencers

• Prepare monthly reporting for management on key metrics

• Keep up to date with Social Media and Content trends

• Social listening (our brands and competitors)

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• At least 3 years of experience within a similar role based in content marketing, advertising, or related fields

• Knowledge and experience in the fundamentals of Social Media marketing. Marketing degree is preferred but not mandatory with relevant work experience

• Display in-depth knowledge and understanding of Social Media platforms, their respective participants, and how each platform can be harnessed to achieve best results

• Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of grammar, syntax, and punctuation

• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

• A passion for staying up to date with industry trends and developments, and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development

• Initiative and genuine motivation to learn and develop

• High level of reliability, responsibility and ownership
