Permanent Full-Time Social Media & Content Coordinator

$55,000 - $60,000 Full Time (Inclusive of Superannuation).

Are you passionate about building brands, engaging communities, and crafting compelling content? We're looking for a talented Social Media & Content Coordinator to join our team and take charge of key responsibilities including branding, community engagement, and content creation.

Foxy Home Staging is a small business based in Brisbane that helps property owners achieve a better result when they sell their home. Our team of Stylists bring furniture into the home to present the property in a way that creates the emotional connection that buyers need in order to buy a house. We are a rapidly growing small business with big ambitions and a growing team. 

ABOUT THE ROLE

Roles and Responsibilities:

In your role you will report to the Marketing Manager, and will be guided and supported to deliver:

1. Branding and Graphic Design: Lead our branding efforts by creating visually appealing designs that resonate with our audience. You'll have the opportunity to shape our brand identity and ensure consistency across all platforms.

2. Online Community Engagement: Be the voice of our brand in online communities. Engage with our audience, facilitate discussions, and address their inquiries. Your goal will be to build strong relationships and foster a sense of community around our brand.
 

3. Content Creation: Write articles for our website that inform, entertain, and engage our audience. From informative guides to thought-provoking blog posts, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and expertise.
 

4. On-Site Support: While the majority of your work will be office-based, you'll also have the chance to provide hands-on assistance at properties. As a tight-knit team, collaboration is key, and your willingness to pitch in – whether it's moving furniture, styling rooms, or adding those final touches – contributes to our collective success.
 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BRING TO THE TEAM

Not everyone is cut out to work with us. To be seriously considered for this role, you will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Ability to use design tools like Canva or Adobe to create content for digital platforms
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills
  • Excellent written English and communication skills
  • Confidence to identify and share ideas for content and use initiative to solve problems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to prioritise and multi-task on a daily basis
  • Be self-driven and able to manage your own time and priorities
     

Characteristics: 

This position will ask you to be available from Monday to Friday. You will be a driven, enthusiastic and motivated individual, possessing excellent customer service skills, initiative and a strong work ethic. The position requires that you have great planning and organisational skills as we pride ourselves on meeting strict deadlines in a schedule driven environment.  You’ll be able to work alone but also love working within a team environment. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, you will be looking to have fun as part of a motivated small team, in a challenging and rewarding environment.

Short Phone Interview

If selected, our Marketing Manager will reach out to organise a short phone interview to provide further clarification on the role and to go through some short interview questions.

Step 3

In person Interview

The next stage would be to come in and meet with the Marketing Manager in person. There will be some follow up questions and an opportunity for you to see the workplace.
