We are looking for a creative, confident & experienced Social Media expert and content creator to join our team!

This role is full time (or negotiable to near full-time) and the location is flexible. You will work across two exciting brands both operating in the events and media space as follows:

FitHer: Australia’s leading women’s health and wellness expo launched in Sydney in 2023 with great success attracting 5500+ attendees to the two-day event. Featuring some of the country’s top female fitness personalities, the expo offers the opportunity for women to connect with products and brands within the expo space, join in live workouts, listen to insightful and inspirational talks on stage and enjoy a range of activations within the event.

Source Kids: Is Australia’s leading resource for parents and carers of children aged 0-35 living with a disability. Source Kids is an omni-channel organisation that delivers 5 expo events each year, a quarterly magazine, range of eMagazines and regular content delivered through Social Media, eDM and online.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Social Media & Content Manager for these two brands, your role will be to create engaging content to ultimately achieve event ticket sales/sign ups, grow audience across Social Media channels, email subscribers and online audience, build brand awareness and create engaging and compelling content to support B2B communications that generate sales opportunities. This role will see a creative and results driven person who passionate about creating change in the women's health and wellness and disability space and grow our brand’s into the future.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF POSITION

  • Enhance visibility and brand awareness across our brands and continue our business exposure in the marketplace by capturing and creating content.
  • Represent our company across all of our Social Media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and new channels as they arise.
  • Manage the Social Media accounts including planning, producing, publishing, optimising, reporting and moderating all channels.
  • Manage all paid ads including set up, ad creation, audience management, optimisation and reporting – both our ads and ads we serve on behalf of clients.
  • Work closely with the team to arrange and facilitate all content creation, including B2C and B2B channels.
  • Manage collaborative content with partners, sponsors, clients and talent.
  • Create written content and articles for online channels.
  • Manage our email database and create/report on eDMs both organic and paid.
  • SMS marketing for event engagement and registrations.
  • Attend events where required.
  • Any other projects or tasks as requested by the CEO.

SUCCESS CRITERIA/KPIs

  • Achievement of key metrics including event ticket sales, audience growth, engagement, traffic and brand awareness.
  • Successful execution of paid ad campaigns with achievement of key ad metrics/indicators.
  • Effectively manage and execute content/Social Media calendars, meeting timeframes and delivery requirements.
  • Delivery of reports by campaign, channel and overall by due timeframes.

KEY SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES (SELECTION CRITERIA)

  • Extensive experience in ads manager, audience segmentation, ad creation, optimisation and reporting.
  • Social media expertise and experience managing social accounts across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn. 
  • A deep understanding of established Social Media platforms and a keen interest in Social Media trends and emerging platforms.
  • Creative flair with an eye for design and skills in video editing/creation and design (Canva, Photoshop etc.).
  • An understanding of analytic tools, metrics and the ability to interpret data to improve what content is delivered and how.
  • Experience with content management systems.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp).
  • A hunger to achieve results – increased audience, increased engagement, event ticket sales – must be self-motivated to achieve these and go to whatever length is required.
  • A strong work ethic and the ability to work at pace while maintaining quality and accuracy.
