This great global Creative Agency (with Indie vibes!) is made up of a collection of content, production and technology experts who provide creative solutions for global and local clients as well as partner agencies.
Working closely with the Social Media Strategist and reporting to the Creative Director, the Social Media Manager will be responsible for managing annual content plans across multiple social channels. You will showcase solid relationship-building skills, a keen eye for detail and take ownership of curating, engaging and impactful content.
Presenting your insights and ideas directly to our clients, you will be an eloquent speaker with exceptional communication skills and participate in proactive pitch creation.
Role Responsibilities
- Managing relationships with clients and media agencies as their Social Media point of contact.
- Planning, populating, and sharing Social Media content calendars for internal and external approval and ensuring alignment with media activity.
- Writing post copy, scheduling and posting all calendar content in alignment with content strategy.
- Liaising with content teams on post creation and copy to ensure approval for all posts and final assets are scheduled in platforms and posted accordingly.
- Working with a social strategist on strategy evaluation, test-and-learn opportunities & recommendations to improve performance across all paid and organic activity.
- Working with a social strategist to analyse data and create reports to ensure content optimisation and brand KPIs are delivered.
- Working with a social strategist on giveaway activities & influencer strategy.
- Work with media agencies to coordinate posting activity and identify opportunities.
- Creating and managing documentation, including FAQ-approved responses and risk and crisis management protocols.
- Monitoring and managing channels throughout 9 am-5 pm working hours and on weekends and public holidays and specific promotions where required.
- Engaging with the social community on channels daily. Ensuring all comments and behaviours on channels adhere to channel terms and conditions. And all comments are addressed within the respective tone of voice outlined.
- Three plus years managing Social Media via paid and organic channels.
- Understanding social reporting tools such as GA, Facebook Business Manager, Sprout Social & Iconosquare.
- Proactively engage teams and individuals using a range of communication means.
