Social Media & Marketing Lead Job Description
King Virtual Services is a fast-growing business, serving multiple business clients (small to medium sized). We offer solutions to empower business owners to get their time back while growing their businesses. We are seeking a Social Media and Marketing Lead to help us expand our digital footprint and help lead our clients’ Social Media and marketing efforts to increased success. They will develop and implement informed strategies tailored to the strengths of various Social Media and email marketing platforms to match our and our clients’ goals.
Objectives of this role
- Increase engagement for existing audiences with high-quality social initiatives
- Acquire new followers by filling gaps in our marketing content output
- Align each brand with new and emerging trends
- Improve ROI through more consistently on-target messaging
- Identify new channels to embed each brand that align their marketing strategy
- Glean insights from social and email marketing data
Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to confirm their positioning, target audience, branding, and goals before developing a brand and marketing guide
- Initial client audit and analytics
- Develop Social Media and marketing strategies to match the goals and budget of each client
- Establish key performance indicators to understand efficacy of social and marketing campaigns
- Lead a team of virtual Social Media and marketing assistants to execute the Social Media and marketing strategy for each client (content creation, captions, hashtags, tags, scheduling, initial insights data pull)
- Analyze each client’s analytics and adjust strategy to make frequent improvement suggestions
- Timely communication with clients to gain their approval (make amendments) for each month’s content and test EDM before the final content/EDM
- Ensure all content and email marketing is completed on time and efficiently (to budget)
- Stay up to date with new and emerging trends
KPIs
- Content published on time
- Number of months where client Social Media and marketing KPIs have been met (i.e. increased reach, increased conversions)
- Increase in number of clients we service
- Increase in revenue for Social Media & Marketing team
- Number of positive Google/Facebook reviews or video testimonials (Social Media & Marketing specific)

Preferred qualifications
- Experience leading brands’ Social Media initiatives
- Keen understanding of how to craft effective Social Media and email marketing strategies
- Strong familiarity with Meta Business Suite, email clients (i.e. Mailerlite, MailChimp, Klaviyo), and project management software
- Experience with other relevant tools (i.e. Canva, CapCut etc)
Additional Information
- Position Type: Contractor.
- Flexible working hours; you can choose when and how many hours you work.
- Initially, the position may require approximately 5-10 hours per week (with potential to grow to your capacity).
- This is a remote position, and you can work from home or anywhere.
- The position offers the opportunity for growth within the company.
- Compensation will be based on an hourly rate.
