About the role
The Sustainability & Social Impact Project Manager will manage a range of projects and initiatives in support of GMCT's environmental sustainability and social impact objectives. Driven by both quantitative and qualitative data, the role will engage closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that GMCT's projects are financially and environmentally sustainable.
Key responsibilities include
- Manage multiple concurrent projects through full project lifecycles including feasibility, implementation, and project close out.
- Working with Project Sponsors to develop project scope definition, success metrics and criteria, project budgets and funding, project prioritisation and resourcing requirements.
- Using risk frameworks, define project risks and appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Build implementation plans using either traditional or agile delivery methodologies.
- Help governance chairs facilitate effective and efficient steering meetings to drive project outcomes.
To be successful in this position you will require:
- 5+years project management experience, construction management or relevant industry experience.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver projects end to end.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, relationship building skills and ability to achieve results without direct reporting relationships.
- Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated individual with excellent attention to detail, time management and organisational skills.
- Experience with relevant industry software such as PMO 365, Microsoft Office, etc or equivalent.
