Job description:
This is a permanent full time role based in SYDNEY.
The Social Strategy Manager will execute social strategies to bring viewers to all our platforms to discover the networks content.
Functions will include:
- Developing social media strategies to launch network shows, driving excitement and bringing viewers to sample, then optimise during the series, including a focus on growth.
- Oversee the management of all network social media accounts.
- Manage relationships with platform partners.
- Manage and build engaged communities, sustain retention amongst followers and subscribers and find new viewers.
- Manage moderation.
- Track benchmarks for measuring success and ROI through managing audience insights and analysis.
- Ensure UTM codes are used on social activity so we can track performance.
- Grow brand affinity.
- Collaborate with Programming, Marketing, Publicity, Design, Promos and Sales to be aligned with network direction, brand and TOV.
What are we looking for in a Social Strategy Manager? What's important?
- At least 7 years of experience developing and/or managing Social Strategy, producing custom organic social content and managing and growing brand social accounts .
- Deep understanding of social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube) and nuances of the end-user experience on each.
- Strong understanding of consumer psychology and behaviour, as well as brand building through storytelling.
- Proven results in building social presence and engagement for brand .
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - a stickler for grammar and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated skill in project management, collaborating and communicating with a diverse range on internal and external stakeholders.
- The ability to work under pressure whilst keeping an eye on the finer details, along with the flexibility to adapt to changes in schedules and delivery.
- Agility and creativity in disrupting the status-quo.
- A passion for, entertainment and pop culture.
- Experience with Premier Pro, Canva, Photoshop.
- An eye for creative content both written and visual is a bonus.
- Ability to create and edit all forms of content is a bonus.
- Tertiary qualified in relevant discipline (marketing/communications etc) highly regarded.
