You'll be working closely with various departments and external stakeholders to develop, implement, and monitor Social Value initiatives that create positive social, economic, and environmental benefits.
- Support the development and implementation of Social Value plans for projects and tenders, ensuring alignment with company strategy and customer requirements.
- Contribute to the development of the business area Social Value strategy
- Based on social impact assessments and stakeholder input, develop a comprehensive Social Value strategy aligned with the organisation's mission, values, and business objectives. This strategy may include goals related to environmental sustainability, social equity, community development, and ethical business practices.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including education, community groups, social enterprises, and local authorities.
- Oversee the implementation of Social Value initiatives and programmes designed to achieve the organisation's goals. This may involve launching community engagement projects, diversity and inclusion initiatives, environmental conservation programs, philanthropic activities, and employee volunteer programs.
- Identify and manage Social Value opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee the data collection and reporting of Social Value outcomes, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations through the company's chosen Social Value tool.
- Communicate Social Value initiatives and their importance to employees at all levels of the organisation. This may involve conducting training sessions, creating educational materials, and fostering a culture of social responsibility and sustainability within the company.
- Assist with the creation of compelling case studies and communication materials to showcase our Social Value impact.
- Represent the organisation as an advocate for social responsibility and sustainability in relevant forums, conferences, and industry associations. This may involve sharing best practices, insights, and success stories to inspire others and drive collective action.
- Monitor and report on progress towards Social Value targets through the company's Social Value tool.
