About the position

As our busy Allied Health Clinic continues to grow, we are now searching for a Social Worker to join our fantastic team! In this role, you will be working with individuals and families through one-on-one and group sessions. You will be responsible for the provision of social work services, including assessments, interventions and therapy plans to support the needs of clients, families, and careers.

This is a part-time or casual position with flexible hours to suite your lifestyle needs.

Requirements

The ideal applicant will have:
Tertiary qualification in social work

Eligible for registration with the Australian Association of Social Workers

Police Check and Working with Children Check

Current driver’s licence and car

NDIS Worker Screening Clearance

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a diverse range of people

Able to demonstrate competence and knowledge of the assessment, treatment, and care coordination of people with diverse ages, experiences, and backgrounds

Ability to work autonomously and within a multi-disciplinary team

Government Covid-19 vaccination requirements (disability sector)

Duties

Manage a clinical caseload with clients of across all ages

Provide social worker services, including assessments, interventions and therapy plans to support the needs of clients, families, and careers

Plan and complete individual and group therapeutic and counselling supports

Aid clients in coordinating or managing life stages and access and/or maintaining employment, higher education, accommodation, and tenancy

Plan and implement early intervention support for early childhood

Liaison with families and care givers

Maintain adequate records and prepare clinical reports as required
