Software Developer

Our client is seeking a Software Engineer/Developer to join their team in Canberra. Under guidance from the Engineering Lead, you will actively document, implement and test product enhancements and bug fixes for the departments products.Key Responsibilities:
Implement enhancements and correct bugs within the existing product
Work as part of a team to deliver work against a schedule
Work within a complex environment with many key stakeholders
Produce various technical and non-technical documentation in support of development and testing efforts
Work within the technical governance frameworks, specifically with a focus on ICT and cyber security such as the Information Security Manual (ISM)
Ability to communicate complex technical and operational subjects to team leads
Perform code reviews
Experience:
Strong problem solving skills
Demonstrated strong experience with: o Linux o Ansible o Containerisation and virtualisation technologies oGit
Demonstrated experience with networking
Essential Qualifications:
Tertiary qualifications in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information technology or a related discipline
Certified SAFe Practitioner (mandatory for all personnel - can be completed upon engagement).
Location and Contract Term- Canberra ACT. - 11 months. Contract until December 1st 2024Rate Range (per hour ex GST):- $84-94 per hour
Security Requirements You must be an Australian Citizen and hold a current minimum Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) Security Clearance.
