About the role:
As a Software Engineer, you'll play a vital role in designing, developing, and optimising our technology and software platforms to meet the evolving needs of our customers, minimising customer downtime and enhancing user experience.
- Develop solutions and application features for our existing platform based on business requests across all software and systems, ensuring continuous improvement and innovation.
- Clearly communicate technical challenges and progress updates effectively with management and the team, collaborating to find efficient solutions.
- Work closely with management to prioritise tasks and projects, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Utilise problem-solving skills to tackle complex technical challenges and optimise system performance.
- Design, develop, and optimise our technology and software platforms, contributing to a seamless user experience.
- Create and maintain code, ensuring quality through participation in peer reviews, and adhering to best practices and standards.
About you:
- 2+ years' experience in software development.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6), React.js, Node.js, and TypeScript.
- Experience with SQL Server, REST APIs, and system monitoring tools.
- Exposure to cloud and microservices infrastructure, preferably AWS.
- Proficient in Agile and/or Kanban methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines.
- Clear communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
