Software Engineer Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer who, along with our excellent software development team, will be responsible for working on projects that are currently being developed by our company. Duties will include but are not limited to developing and directing software system validation and testing methods, as well as directing our software programming initiatives. You will also be working closely with clients and cross-functional departments to communicate project statuses and proposals.
A bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or another related field is required. You will also need at least five to seven years of Software Engineering or software development experience, preferably in a related field, to be successful in this role.
Duties Include:
· Participate in a team that designs, develops, and tests complex technology solutions.
· Technical excellence in software development and support of tools that support the preparation of designs, estimates and planning for any enhancement or development.
· Identification and management of risk, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, developing workforce capability, developing standards, procedures, and governance documentation to support the operating model.
· Work closely with users to define and document business requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of their needs and objectives.
· Investigate and analyze business processes, procedures, and work practices to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
· Create detailed functional specifications for system developers to guide the development of effective software solutions.
· Utilize data and process modelling techniques to create clear system specifications for software design and development.
· Monitor and report on the performance of systems, identifying potential issues and implementing corrective actions.
· Troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues, collaborating with the technical team to implement effective solutions and minimize disruptions.
· Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and optimization within the integration environment, promoting efficiency and reliability.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience required:
· Experience: – Relevant experience of 12 years and above. Experience working in complex integrating enterprise applications.
· Qualifications: – B.Tech/B.E./Masters in computer science or other relevant certifications
· Processes: - Agile, Waterfall, People Management, Risk Assessment, Project Estimation
· Management tools: - JIRA, TFS, ALM, Visio, Draw i.o, Luchidchart, Power point, Miro Board, Excel, MS Teams & ADO
· Application platforms: - Web & Mobile application and COTS products like Salesforce, SAP, etc.
