Following exponential growth in 2023, we are now one of the largest installers of residential systems in Victoria. Why? We take pride in our work and we're not satisfied until you are. This is why we are now looking for an Installation Manager to join our team and help us achieve our vision in becoming Australia's largest installer of rooftop solar and battery storage.
The Role
An exciting opportunity for:
An existing install manager with CEC accreditation looking for the next career step; or
A senior solar installer with strong organisational capabilities / aptitude, looking to move into a role that's predominantly off the tools.
You will review, assess, schedule and manage the successful delivery of installation services for our products, from design and job review, through to compliance and auditing. Working in close partnership with the sales and operations teams, you'll coordinate and schedule 40-60 jobs per week, providing technical advice and support where needed - ultimately ensuring the customer's experience is positive all round.

Key Duties/Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Organisation and management of field installation teams / subcontractors
- Seek out and onboard new installers and upskill existing installation teams to industry best practice and regulatory compliance
- Ensure Advantage Solar's policies and procedures are maintained on site with all necessary safety assessment paperwork, SWMS, licenses up to date .
- Hold training sessions with the sales staff to ensure they remain up to date with industry installation requirements and review incorrect layouts.
- Conduct random site visits to ensure installation teams are maintaining safety compliance, accurate record
keeping and quality of installation execution to our Company’s platinum standard
- Quoting and estimating of installation works as requested from the sales team
- Attend both residential and commercial site inspections when needed for complex jobs
- Management of repairs and maintenance callouts
- Solar Victoria audit requirements
- Ensure CES/EWR/CR are being received in the relevant timeframe
- Identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement to streamline our processes
- Quality control and client satisfaction
Desired Skills
- Proficient in overseeing on-site labour and must possess all required licenses and knowledge required to install solar and battery systems
- Proficient in using various computer systems (Microsoft office, CRM etc.)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
