AddressOur client is a dedicated service-based organisation committed to delivering efficient and sustainable solutions for Western Sydney. Located in Parramatta surrounds, they require an experienced Procurement Officer to join their team for a 2 month casual assignment with to pportunity to extend.
The Position
Working with the Procurement team, your focus will be supporting one of their largest projects in Western Sydney.
Duties
- Verify vendor details are up to date and correct
- Co-ordinate requests for information from new vendors, ensure documentation is accurate and complete
- Store vendor forms and correspondence in SharePoint
- Manage onboarding process (goods and services) promptly, actioning or co-ordinating each element of the workflow in a timely manner
- Fielding and responding to vendor queries, co-ordinating responses internally
- First point of contact for T&C review
- Co-ordinate T&C first review and complete template – warranty, delivery terms etc
- Co-ordinate meetings with vendors in conjunction with relevant internal stakeholders to review and confirm vendor set up stages. Taking meeting notes, action points and executing tasks in a timely manner
- Update tracker on progress and report weekly on progress
The Candidate
- Previous experience ina similar role with extensive contract coordination experience
- Government, transport, logistics or construction industry experience highly desirable
- Strong eye for detail
- Strong stakeholder management
- Process driven
- Intermediate Excel skills
